These are great because they not only provide many versatile layout options, they are comfortable as well as eye pleasing. A home theatre sectional can help make your in-home theatre stand out, ensuring that you will be the envy of all of your guests.

Since you have gone to all the trouble of purchasing state of the art audio and video equipment, you probably also want furniture that adds to your home theater décor, not detract from it. Face it, if you just wanted seating, you could run out and grab some lawn furniture and be done with it. You, of course, want something that adds a little bit of pizzazz and elegance to your room. Perhaps the best way to do this in you home theatre is to install home theater sectionals.

Home theater sectionals are available in wide array of colors, patterns, materials, and shapes. You are not just stuck with the traditional black leather. Because of these options, it would be silly to just install single traditional styled home theater seats. No, you want your home theatre design to stand out, and the best way to do this is by installing a sectional or two.

Because of these different design choices, a home theatre sectional is great for just about anyone’s media or theatre room. You can find ones that are straight or one that are curved; they can be long or they can be short. These choices allow you to layout your room in a variety of ways, guaranteeing the ultimate in comfort.

Let us face it; the enjoyment of the room ultimately will come down to comfort, and a home theatre sectional will all but guarantee this comfort. A sectional lets you entertain in a variety of ways. One person can be quite comfortable lying across an entire seating section, or five or six people can sit comfortably in the oversized individual sectional seats. This allows you choice of having a small intimate gathering, or a large raucous party. The best part about both of these choices is that you will be able to guarantee that all of your guests are comfortable.

With all this information, you should really not put off your home theatre seating purchase any longer. Sectionals are truly the way to go. They give you the best choices and options. They also will guarantee that you and your guests will be comfortable.

Yang Anderson writes extensively on furniture items such as home theater sectionals.

Link back to this post home theater sectionals.

Home Theater Sectionals are great for Your Media Room

There really is no point to creating an in-home theater unless you can also create a comfortable setting. You can spend hundreds of thousands on all of the latest audio and video equipment; however, if you cannot provide a comfortable atmosphere, the whole effort will be in vain. So do not take your home theater design lightly. Make sure you shop around and test out all the options available on the market.

Because your overall enjoyment relies so heavily on your home theater seating choices, you may want to consider installing a home theater sectional. Instead of traditional movie seats, sectionals are great ways to make your home theater décor stand out. As opposed to traditional home theater furniture, these pieces can bring the style and elegance of your living room to your home theater or media room.

Home theater sectionals are great ways to fill up the awkward spaces in your large theater room. They are available in a variety of shapes and sizes; however, the two most popular choices are generally curved or straight. Because they allow for a versatile arrangement, home theater sectionals are great ways to optimize your space. A large group or watch party can easily and comfortably fit into the seats provided by the sectional seating. In addition, sectionals allow a smaller, more intimate gathering room to spread, lie down, or stretch legs, providing the ultimate in movie watching comfort.

When shopping for home theater furniture, make sure the sectional is truly a home theater sectional. If it is designed for theater purposes, it will contain accessories such as cup holders, television trays, and built in recliner features. These are absolute movie watching musts.

Make sure you shop around for the best prices. Many furniture stores claim to offer the lowest prices; however, this is not always true. The internet has made it easy to shop and instantly compare prices. It also allows you the ability to shop at sites that are specifically geared toward providing home theater furniture. This ensures that you are receiving the best furniture and the best prices.

The increase in online competition has, of course, helped drive down the prices of home theater sectional seating. Because of this, as well as the wide array of options available on the market, there really is no reason to not begin shopping today. The sooner you begin searching, the sooner you will be able to comfortably enjoy your in-home movie theater.

Yang Anderson writes extensively on home theater seating and home theater sectionals.

Link back to this post home theater sectionals.

Pass the Popcorn on Your Own Home Theater Seats

The demand for home theater seating has soared nearly in sync with the economic downfall, job loss, and other financial concerns. It costs nearly an arm and a leg to take a family of four to a theater for a movie and a simple meal. The knights in shining armor are manufacturers of home theater seats that are far more comfortable that traditional theater seats and afford the relaxation home privacy.

These home theater seats run the price range possibilities. The least expensive and most simple home theater seats are basic armchairs. They contain a bit more seat padding but do not offer reclining, places to put a drink, or comfort for extended movie or other home entertainment time. Any home theater seat must be more comfortable than the traditional movie theater seat with the fold down seat, no ability to adjust the back or seat for comfort, and squeezed so close to the seat ahead that most movie goers were required to sit with their knees up against the seat in front of them.

The adage that “you get what you pay for” certainly applies to home theater seats. Moving up from the simple movie theater seats to the simple home theater seats, we now find the top of the line home theater seats. These look much like sectional sofas in that many of them have several sections, each of which has a different adjustment possibility. One may recline while another may rock and another, stretch out in a single size fold out bed, all contained in one theater seating group. Other home theater seating may include drink holders and snack trays while others may provide a massage for the occupant.

Home theater seats may be custom designed with some companies actually encouraging purchasers to provide their own and favorite coverings. Leather is offered with most of the upgraded home theater seats and groupings. Additionally, many manufacturers take into account the use of large screen televisions and other entertainment equipment and factor this into the arrangement of the seats in their groupings, allowing for clear vision from each and every seat.

Check the electric refrigerator unit in your home seating furniture. Stock those drinks you and your guests will want to enjoy. Pour yourself a drink and slide into your reclined position while your guests rock away or curl up in a soft leather seat. Do not worry about the children. They have their smaller version of the adult home theater seating and they are comfortable and ready for the show. Lower the lights and let the show begin in your home theater seating comfort.

Yang Anderson writes on a wide range of topics including home theater seats.

Link back to this post home theater seats.

Home Theater Seats that are More Comfortable than Movie Chairs

This is a frequently spoken comment of theater, movie and concert attendees. How, the wonder, does anyone enjoy a performance when they simply are miserably squeezed into small seats with little space between then and the next seat, and not enough room to stretch a leg or wiggle around just a bit as need? Home theater and home theater seats have arrived in order to address these questions and concerns.

Although some home theater seats look similar to more familiar sectional sofas and sectional seating arrangements, there are major differences. Home theater seats are designed with clear viewing of the movie or television screen available no matter where one sits in the configuration of seating. Larger viewing areas have been factored in to accommodate newer and larger screens.

Like sectional sofas and other furniture in appearance, home theater seats are designed for lasting comfort throughout the length of a movie, television performance, concert, and other entertainment. All one has to do is sit in one of the comfortable home theater seats to realize the incredible comfort of overstuffed, yet subtle chair seats, the wide arms (some with cup holders), the recline of additional seating units, and the built in drink cooler, telephone connection, and/or the single fold down bed for those who want to stretch out end enjoy the entertainment. There has been discussion regarding the addition of a bassinet for infants who need to be close to a parent but not necessarily held at all times. Soothing music or sounds will be available for the infant but will not interfere with the adult home theater enjoyment.

Home theater seats are available to a variety of materials, colors and patterns and are appropriate for large dens, family rooms, basement entertainment rooms and others. Several companies offer families the option of supplying their own cover materials. Leather theater seats are available, of course, and are high quality and provide unquestionable comfort.

Recognizing that children and adults often differ in the definition of comfort, many companies offer children’s home theater seats. These theater seats offer many of the adult amenities as well as age appropriate options such as fold out lap tables, covers with informal patterns as well as bold colors, and snack trays. As with the adult home theater seats, the children seating is well padded with comfortable materials, and utilizes easily to clean cover materials.

There is absolutely no comparison to being uncomfortably squeezed into a theater seat and to finding the room, comfort, and versatility of a home theater seat or seating arrangement.

Amy Miller writes extensively on living room furniture and home theater seats.

Link back to this post home theater seats.

Choices in Home Theater Seats

<meta equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;

When shopping for home theater seats, there are many factors and options a homeowner may need to consider. Since there are several different styles of theater seats, a consumer should know the material, size and shape of the home theater seat he or she is looking for. One of the best ways to know what to look for is to measure the size and shape of the room that the seating will be used in. The homeowner should also consider the residents and guests’ preferences on the type of couches and materials they are most comfortable with. Choosing the right movie theater seats for a living room can make the atmosphere inside the room much more relaxed and enjoyable for home entertainment.

After making a large purchase such a home entertainment center, a homeowner must then turn his or her attention to the comfort of the home entertainment room. Without comfortable seating, a large television or entertainment center can be useless. If no one enjoys spending time in the room, the home entertainment system will barely be used. To prevent this, homeowners can next invest in great theater seats for the room in order to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Some homeowners that wish to create a movie theater-like atmosphere may purchase leather theater seats for their living room. These seats are comfortable and plush, but are also easy to clean and maintain. Many of the theater seats also come equipped with cup holders or reclining ends, allowing for even more comfort for the user. In keeping with the movie theater-style theme, many home theater seating systems also are designed with arm rests between each seat. This allows the guest to relax in comfort while enjoying the entertainment.

There are many sizes of home theater seats available on the market today. A homeowner with a large living or entrainment room should be able to purchase long rows of seating that contain four to seven seats. If he or she is trying to achieve a movie theater feel in the room, the seating can be placed into rows and allow many people to sit in the room. A smaller living or entrainment room can have a shorter row of seating, such as a loveseat or a row of three seats. This home theater seat is still just as comfortable as a longer row of seats but may not cater to a large number of guests.

Amy Miller is an expert in living room furniture and home theater seats.

Link back to this post home theater seats.

Adding Home Theater Seats to a Living Room

Home theater seats have become a popular addition to many living and family rooms. Old fashioned couches and love seats have been tossed aside to make room for these plush, comfortable and movie theater-style seats. Even those homeowners that do not have a large screened television or impressive entertainment center have decided to invest in movie theater seats for their living and family rooms in order to offer their residents and guests complete comfort while in the home. Leather theater seats have also become a stylish way to outfit the living room because they offer a classy, elegant and comfortable seating solution.

There are many furniture manufacturers that specialize in home theater seating. Some homeowners who are in the market for a new living or family room set may dismiss the idea of theater seating because they do not think they have space in the room. However, many furniture companies offer smaller and more manageable movie theater seats for those with a smaller room size. Some of these seating arrangements are the same size as regular love seats but offer more comfort and are more appealing to guests. A home theater seat is often larger than a regular seat on a couch and can be equipped with arm rests or cup holders. These small accessories offer more comfort and convenience for guests and can allow them to enjoy spending time in the room.

Some theater seats also offer recliner seating as an added bonus. This can allow guests to kick up their feet and relax while in the room. Reclining seating can offer an even more comfortable experience than movie theater seating because a guest can watch a movie in a flat position or can have the ability to lean back and relax. Many furniture designers also offer single home theater seats. These can be set up in a living room as a stand alone reclining chair or can be grouped together as a larger row of seats similar to a couch. Many homeowners that are in the process of designing their living room may only want to buy a few theater seats before deciding how the room will work out best. Once the room is set up, the homeowner can move each seat around or add more seats as necessary. Leather theater seats are a classic and comfortable way to add a seating solution to a home theater room or regular living room. Theater seats can be an elegant and appealing addition to many homes.

Amy Miller writes extensive on living room furniture and home theater seats.

Link back to this post home theater seats.

Step by Step Shopping for Home Theater Seats

Amy M.

Seating for home theater can be fun to shop for. The trick is to match it with the color scheme and motif of your home theater room. Many times this room is actually the living room or the den or family room. As such, it serves at least a dual purpose for the family: a family get-together room and a home theater room. Home theater seating furniture can also have multi-functions. In home theater seating can be used for watching movies, of course, and for eating, game playing, reading and just lounging around doing nothing but being comfortable.

Furniture of all kinds is fun to shop for right now because pretty much everything can be gotten at some kind of a discount. Shopping for discount home theater seating is no different. There is an excess of furniture out there now and it’s a buyer’s market for just about everything, including a home theater seating collection. Many stores are going out of business because of the economy and that means you can get deals galore on home theater seating.

Before buying anything, however, go through a simple inventory first. For instance, ask yourself, how many seats do you want in your home theater? Secondly, what’s your budget? Thirdly, there is no thirdly…just go out there and buy what you want! The number of people, of course, is important, as is your budget. Since you know that you can get deals on home theater seating, perhaps the number of seats is even more important. Once your friends (and enemies and acquaintances) find out about your home theater, everybody will want to be invited over. The important thing here is to decide how many people you are going to want in your house watching a movie with you and who is not going to be coming over. You should make sure that you don’t have too many seats available for those questionable ‘friends’ who make it a point to always invite themselves over when you would much rather spend time with others. Think about it and then go out and get a great deal on home theater seating.

Amy M. M. Miller

Wow, your own home theater! That’s pretty exciting. Things sure have come a long way from going to the theater and having to share the movie with a bunch of strangers and trying to get the bubble gum and sticky candy off of your clothes that rubbed off from the uncomfortable seat you had to sit in, to watch a movie where the sound was incomprehensible and unless you came early, you saw the movie from an angle that tweaked your neck but helped the chiropractor buy a new boat. Yes they have. Things have come an awfully long way.

What are you going to do for home theater seating and home theater furniture? Miller

Other than the audio and visual components, there is another vitally important element to a media room. It is the home theater seating itself. Like your audio and visual systems, the type of seating you choose to install will vary depending on your individual tastes and preferences. You’ll be limited by your budget. You’ve probably made decisions about the particular fabrics and or whether leather home theater seating will offer a better fit for your furniture needs. There also other considerations.

You may also have some ideas about the specific style of home theater seat you prefer. One of the big points is based on what size room you have and whether you want single seats or a few rows. As you investigate the options, you will have to make a decision between curve or straight home theater seats or arrangement. You may even want get something like recliner home theater seating. Again, this may come down to a matter of available space.

Basically, what you will find out that the total dimensions of your media room will determine the number of seats or even the rows themselves. One thing to note is that if you only plan to have a single row with a few seats in it, then the question of having straight or curved seating for home theater really doesn’t matter. By having few seats means that there are no issues of proper configuration to keep in mind; a straight line would work fine. On the other hand, if you have home theater seating, 3 seats or more may be a reason to opt for a curved arrangement.

If you consider what options you have when you make a trip to movie theater then you have some idea of the possibilities in terms of home theater seating furniture. Answer this question. Where do you choose to sit, most of the time? Do you choose the end seats or those in the middle of the straight row? For the best viewing, the middle is the obvious choice. The same applies with in home theater seating. It also explains why you may want to choose a curved configuration over the standard straight rows.

Once you have an idea of the arrangement, you’ll very likely start looking around for seating. Once you’re committed, you may want to find a home theater seating collection. You’ll find that many of these collections can be rather expensive. Any budget considerations will come into play here. This could mean looking around for different discount home theater seating.

Link back to this post home theater seating.

Amy Miller writes extensively on home theater seating.

A Few Considerations about Home Theater Seating

Amy Miller

For a lot of people, the thought of having a home theater system in their homes remains focused more on the sound and viewing options – and rightly so. Both attention and budget focus on issues like whether they will find the latest projection or screen equipment, appropriate surround sound speaker, as well as other audio visual goodies. Unfortunately, these same individuals may neglect another crucial element that impacts one’s overall viewing experience: home theater seating. It is this question of choosing the right seating for home theater systems that is the focus of this article.

One of the important starting points is to know what type of home theater seats you would prefer to have in the first place. There are different models to choose from including recliner home theater seating and even sofas. Now, for many people plush seats are enough. Yet, they may not be aware of how particular home theater seating furniture can make a difference when combined with a smart layout in the space. You may be determining your ultimate viewing experience by your choice of seating.

There two big considerations that you should really keep in mind when looking at a home theater seating collection. They are definitely essential to finding seats that work the best for each situation. Here they are:

First off, you must know your audience. How does this statement apply in home theater seating? Basically, you need to ask questions about who will be watching movies and other media on your home theater system. Will there be children or elderly viewers? The way you answer this kind of question will determine the style of home theater seat you choose. Who wants to spend money on cloth seats that get ruined by kids constantly spilling their drinks and food all over them when you could have chosen leather home theater seating that is easy to clean?

The choice you make should account for everyone so all viewers have an excellent view experience and are entertained. You should write down a list of potential audiences for your home theater system so you can narrow the scope of the seating options. Home theater seating, 3 to 4 to a row, may be perfect for your needs. Then again, you may have enough demand (and available space) for a better arrangement.

The second consideration is comfort. Good seats will offer great comfort from head to toe. Issues like flexibility and stability must be considered. Durability factors in here as well since most of time you will be making a sizable investment to purchase home theater seating in the first place. Even when you choose discount home theater seating, the costs demand you make a wise choice based on careful examination of the options.

Link back to this post home theater seating.

What to Look for in Home Theater Seats

Amy Miller

Home theater seats are a relatively new creation that is in demand for people's home theaters. Home theater installations have been accelerating as people are budgeting from the recent downturn in the economy and have been limiting their vacations. Since housing prices are also under water, more people are deciding on sprucing up their basement or extra rooms by installing a home theater and then purchasing comfortable home theater seats to relax in. Home theater seats are one of those purchases where you only make the decision one or two times in your life so you have to work with very little information and the merchant has most of the advantage in the transaction unless you do some research ahead of time. In our experience you need to look for the following: type of materials, type of construction and ease of installation to set home theater seats apart from each other.

The type of materials varies for both the frame and seat coverings for home theater seats. For the frame, most manufacturers are going to use a hardwood or softwood frame and either are fine. The lower quality manufacturers mix in a lot of plywood and MDF board into the frame. If you are in a store, you can typically tilt the seat back and look underneath and see what type of wood they use. If there are two options present, take the one with the solid wood frame. Solid wood is generally more sturdy than plywood and costs a bit more, so all other things being equal, opt for solid. The material used on the seats varies from full leather, half leather half vinyl and full vinyl. The most expensive should be full leather than lower prices as you go down the list. If you can get a full leather home theater seat at the lowest price, grab it. Generally you will see that you can get half vinyl half leather for the same price as full vinyl is you shop around. Our suggestion is that since leather is more expensive than vinyl, shop till you get the half and half instead of just settling for the cheapest model right off the bat.

For the type of construction the key is to look at how well the item is finished from underneath. The more complete the finish is, the more care that probably went into the entire piece. If you can, flip the item on it is back and see if there is a black cloth coating the underbelly of the chair and each piece of wood is wrapped individually. This cloth is going to look like the cloth that you see underneath your mattress. Opt for the chair that looks more like it's diminished underneath, all other things being equal.

For installation, there are a few different types of connectors that are available on theater seats. The first type, and I think the worst type, is a bar that runs underneath your row of seats. The assembly is more difficult to handle and the bar is tricky to thread. A better installation technology used is the male and female connectors. All you need to do with the connectors is lift one chair slightly and slide the connectors together on top of each other. Simple and effective installation.

If you keep in mind your materials, construction and installation technologies, you should have a pleasant purchasing experience of your new home theater seats.

Link back to this post home theater seats.

Maximizing Your Home Theater Seating Arrangements

Amy Miller

Home theaters allow the cinema experience to reach individual families and movie-goers, all in the comfort of their homes. Traditionally, home theaters have been thought of as expensive and generally, out of the price range of most people. However, proper planning and bargain shopping can make this luxury possible.

While many components go into a theater system, one of the most important is the seating arrangement. Home theater seating can make or break the experience. Uncomfortable home theater seats can wrestle the enjoyment away from the system. Likewise, an awkward layout can detract from the viewing and audio effects of the TV and speakers. To combat this, price-conscious consumers can find affordable discount theater seating. All while planning an effective and comfortable layout.

What makes home theater seats affordable? It is entirely up to the preferences of the user. The most popular tend to be recliner theater seats, leather sofas, or sectionals. Leather make for a comfortable feel while also absorbing sound – which enhances the quality of the sound system. Many furniture manufacturers offer home theater seating collections, varying in size, arrangement, material and price.

Consider looking through online postings, weekend sale specials at furniture retailers or even designing your own home theater seating from sofas, recliners, etc. Remember, the key is not just creating comfortable seating, but also focusing on the audio and visual parts of the system.

<img src="http://www.interiorexpress.com/Brown_Cannes_Theater_Seating2.jpg" alt="" style="display: block;
Below are some tips for maximizing your seating arrangement:

Place furniture at a comfortable, yet engaging, distance from the TV and speakers.

Make changes! You may find the perfect arrangement takes two, three or even eight different experiments to maximize the sound and picture

Try to arrange the seating in a rectangular shape, this will maximize the sound and picture

Attempt to layout the furniture so light sources are behind the seating arrangement. This will help prevent unwanted glare obstructing the television's view.

The internet can be your best friend when gathering ideas for a seating arrangement. Popular search engines can help you find diverse layout schemes to maximize your furniture seating, TV placement, speaker layout and lighting.

With careful planning and experimentation, a comfortable and functional theater seating arrangement can provide years of enjoyable in-home cinema viewing. Be creative, experiment with different patterns and enjoy creating an at-home cinema!

Link back to this post home theater seating.

What to look for in home theater seats

<meta equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;

Home theater seating is a relatively new creation that is in demand for people's home theaters.

If you can, flip the item on it's back and see if there is a black cloth coating the underbelly of the chair and each piece of wood is wrapped individually.

Link back to this blog post home theater seats.

The home theater seating that is purchased for the room can add to the comfort and appeal of the system. While the equipment and technology that is purchased for the theater is important, home theater seats are just as important for the quality of the room. A home theater seat can be purchased from a furniture store or online. Some homeowners that are interested in creating a movie-theater like atmosphere in the living room may have to search in antique furniture stores for the seating for home theater.

Leather home theater seating is often a popular choice for many home residents because the furniture is easy to keep clean. A regular sized living room can be made into a home theater with the addition of home theater seating and a theater system. Often, a homeowner will look for a home theater seating 3 or less because it is easy to fit into the room size. A homeowner may also like the smaller home theater seating collection because he or she has the ability to move the furniture around in order to fit comfortably in a uniquely shaped or smaller room. Smaller home theater seating that only seats two or three people can also be moved into different rooms more easily if needed.

Homeowners that are interested in making sure their guests are comfortable may look into purchasing recliner home theater seating for their room. With a growing market and greater demand as a result of more consumers looking to fulfill their dreams of having in home theater seating, a wide selection of styles are available, often offered by companies who specialize in designing home theaters from top to bottom. Arguably the most important element of your home theater over the A/V equipment and wall color, home theater room seating exists to fit any room or any need. This is great news for consumers who do not have the space to have a separate room devoted solely to a home theater – a living room or den can be easily turned into an intimate space for viewing films and entertaining guests.

For those who have a large finished basement or spare room large enough to house group home theater seats with enough space to spare between the seats and the screen, the sky is the limit! With a dedicated room for this type of project, the home theater seat layout can be arranged in about any way you wish. For a theater experience closest to that of the cinema, you'll want more than one row of seating. A full home theater seating set with 2 or 3 rows back and even arranged with an aisle in the center will result in the most authentic public theater environment. Growing in popularity is the home theater seating sofa, which includes either removable armrests or no armrests at all. Your home theater seating collection may also include a home theater seating sectional. These are often expandable or, because they can be broken down into single seats, you can have the freedom to alter your layout over time.

To convert your living room into an entertainment haven, you may need to purchase a single home theater seat or series of individual home theater seats to make your room multifunctional. Leather home theater seating is both luxurious and functional for a family with children because it is very easy to wipe clean and maintain. Another thing to consider when converting to a living room with home theater seating furniture is the space the chairs take up when reclined. Recliner home theater seating can be difficult to work with because it requires a large area to spread out and recline, so home theater seating that is stationary might be a better option.

Seating for home theater can work in your house or even an apartment with some careful planning and consideration.

Link back to this blog post home theater seating.

Home Theater Seating Assembly Video

Remember we were talking about filming videos for our home theater seats product demonstration? While we were making that video, we realized video will be the best to show our customers how easily they can set up their home theater chairs after they receive the shipments from us. So, we decided: make assembly videos!

There are basically only two steps to show. We taught our spokes lady what she will need to do, and she got it right away (I told you, it is really easy). However, when we started filming, we found although these are simple steps, it is hard for one person to line up the back with the chair. We had to introduce a helper (here comes the guy you see in the video).

<a class="BLOGGER-object-element tr_noresize tr_placeholder" data-original-id="BLOGGER_object_0" href="http://www.blogger.com/%3Cimg%20src=" http:="" id="BLOGGER_object_0" img="" object_element.gif"="" style="height: "385"px; width: "480"px;" www.blogger.com="">

Link back to this blog home theater seating.

How do you assemble home theater chairs

Out of all the questions we have received from customers concerning home theater seating, one of the most frequently asked questions, or one of the major concerns, was, how hard it is for me to assemble my home theater seats? It is actually much easier than you would think, and here is how you do it.

When you received the chairs, they are packed individually. In other words, if you ordered two rows of three chairs, you should expect to receive six boxes (always do a brief inspection before you sign for any shipments!). When you open up the boxes, you will see the chair seat and the back, separately. The backs are taken off the seat for better protection during the shipping process. So, step one, we need to put the chair back on. There are two rails on the back, and there are two poles on the seat. What you will need to do for this step is simply sliding the two poles into the two rails, and yes, now you have a complete chair.

Now we have individual chairs, and we need to put them together into a row. On the side of each chair, there are two metal brackets. The brackets are designed so that they face up on one side and face down on the other side. Move the side facing down slightly, and slide down to the brackets facing up. Easily, you have connected two chairs.

For some of our home theater seats, the legs come separately, so there is an extra step for those. However, there is only one screw per leg, so that is only a couple of minutes’ work. Now you see how easy it is to assemble our theater chairs? Next time I will include a video we took in the warehouse to show the process.

Link back to this post home theater seating.

All models are back to stock!

We were having a model or two out of stock here and there for the past couple of months. Very often, the customer just wants to talk to our customer service representative to confirm the information we have online. We understand it is a big ticket purchase, and to make a thousand-dollar decision most people would want to obtain as much information as possible. Well, after all, no matter what you buy and where you buy it, one thousand dollar is not a daily purchase for average families. To better service and inform our customers, we made our first batch of home theater seating videos about three years ago. That was the first time we took product videos, and the final product was a little bit primitive. We are very glad that we finally made the step though, not only because those videos were considered helpful by our customers, but also it was a great pilot study and it prepared us for our second batch of home theater seating videos about one year afterwards.

As it is the case for everything else, it is much easier the second time around. The older videos did not have a spokesperson in it, and we found it a little hard to express everything through images only (I know, power of language). The second time, we hired an actress to talk in our video, which was definitely a great progress. It is important to have someone show the reclining mechanism. We only have manual home theater seats, and apparently most customers are fine with that. In terms of comfort, it is as good as power home theater chairs. The manual mechanism is straightforward and much easier for maintenance.

The video was taken in our old photo room, which was a little bit small for the filming, but overall we are pretty happy with the videos. I have inserted one of the videos here. I could not find the older videos, otherwise it will fun to see the before and after.

Home theater seating

We've provided a few updates on our product line at home theater seating express. Our main goal was to get a lot of these in stock before we started to advertise and here we are, we have the inventory. If you are interested, please stop by.

Single seat pics / help with home theater seating assembly

These were out on our photo floor (the items in the back are new dining and lounge chairs). I wanted to show how the chairs are linked together.

If you look on the side here, there are two clasps. On the chair next to this one, it is going to have two more clasps that are facing in the opposite direction. What you have to do is pick up one seat and set it on the clasps of the other seat. Easy. The backs also come on and off so I'll show that in another post.

home theater seating
