How We Made Home Theater Seating Videos

We customers call and email us questions about our home theater seating every day. Very often, the customer just wants to talk to our customer service representative to confirm the information we have online. We understand it is a big ticket purchase, and to make a thousand-dollar decision most people would want to obtain as much information as possible. Well, after all, no matter what you buy and where you buy it, one thousand dollar is not a daily purchase for average families. To better service and inform our customers, we made our first batch of home theater seating videos about three years ago. That was the first time we took product videos, and the final product was a little bit primitive. We are very glad that we finally made the step though, not only because those videos were considered helpful by our customers, but also it was a great pilot study and it prepared us for our second batch of home theater seating videos about one year afterwards.
As it is the case for everything else, it is much easier the second time around. The older videos did not have a spokesperson in it, and we found it a little hard to express everything through images only (I know, power of language). The second time, we hired an actress to talk in our video, which was definitely a great progress. It is important to have someone show the reclining mechanism. We only have manual home theater seats, and apparently most customers are fine with that. In terms of comfort, it is as good as power home theater chairs. The manual mechanism is straightforward and much easier for maintenance.
The video was taken in our old photo room, which was a little bit small for the filming, but overall we are pretty happy with the videos. I have inserted one of the videos here. I could not find the older videos, otherwise it will fun to see the before and after.
